Leonard “Leo” Succar

Leonard “Leo” Succar handles and assists with personal injury, workers’ compensation, and criminal law matters. Born in New York, he grew up between Lima, Peru, and Miami where he received his bachelor’s degree from Florida International University, followed by a master’s degree from Long Island University. After receiving his Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University he embarked on a twenty-year criminal law career with the Miami-Dade Public Defender. He also had the pleasure of consulting on trial practice in Colombia and teaching the next generation at the Miami-Dade College Law Center.

Outside of the office, he previously served as deputy director of a USAID funded governance program in Nicaragua and has lectured in trial practice and trial procedure reform in Panama, Peru and Mexico. With his excellent command of Spanish and international experience he is ready to travel to meet with clients and case preparation.
